The Shadow Of “Brain Root” In Digital Life

Image

Digital life that increasingly dominates many aspects of daily life can affect a person’s mental condition and thinking. This brain rot phenomenon describes a condition in which a person feels stressed, anxious, or has difficulty focusing due to too much information coming from various digital platforms, such as social media, applications, and non-stop news.

In a digital life, we are often trapped in a cycle of rapid and continuous information consumption, which can lead to a decrease in the ability to think critically or respond calmly. Our brains, which were previously accustomed to more structured patterns of interaction and information processing, now have to adapt to much higher speeds and volumes.
